- I was walking down the staircase to the living room when I heard commotion outside on the patio. I strained to hear what was happening over the sound of my flip flops as they came into contact with the floor.
- "Where the fuck is she? I know she is here!" I managed to hear Roman's voice when I rounded the living room into the small hallway that led to the front door.
