• “Mom! Something's happened!” Jonathan came running over in a fluster, exclaiming, “Something terrible has happened!”
• “What happened that has you acting like your pants are on fire?” Heather glanced at Jonathan and said, “Jonathan, if there's anyone to blame for your failures in life, it's yourself! You make a fuss over the smallest things. What kind of behavior is that? Calm down and speak slowly, understand?”
• “Grandma is right.” James chimed in, “Uncle Jonathan, we must remain calm at all times! Look at Grandma—even after being put on the spot like that tonight, isn't she still chatting cheerily?”
