Chapter 30 Arcade

• She smiled back and followed me out. I drove us to a near by arcade where we spent hours playing and laughing over who won and who lost. I couldn’t deny she whooped my ass at the racing games. But the shooting ones I definitely won. But surprisingly she was pretty good at those too.
• “You’ve never been to an arcade before have you?”
• “No” she said softly as we looked for a new game to play. But her answer didn’t surprise me. She’s been working since she was twelve. It just seems like she goes to school then work and then home. She’s definitely a hard worker and she works more than me. I mostly just work during the summer time. My dad is always teaching everything he can about business so that I can run his company after college. Or during college. He wants me to take it over so he can retire and him and my mom can move out to the Bahamas and enjoy their retirement together.
