Chapter 31

• "Good Morning." He greeted Mr and Mrs Corte. Mrs Corte kissed Desmond cheek as he kissed her forehead. Desmond and Mr Corte exchange glances as he sat in his usual seat; the head of the house. Well, it's clear that he the head of this house. We began to eat. No one talked. I felt odd at the absolute absence of sound. I looked at Desmond whose focus is all on his food, so is everyone. After breakfast, Mr and Mrs Corte left.
• "Did you take your medicines?" I asked him as Nodded and left too.
• I smiled as I looked at the garden. Finally, it looked loved. It looks so beautiful. I just rearranged most of the flowers. I close my eyes as I inhaled the scent of the flowers.
