Chapter 24
- "Don't hit my hands." I said in a croaked voice. He narrowed his eyes at me, ready for his anger. I began to shake in his ominous presence. But, his wrath never came as he let out a disappointed sigh.
- "What is the count?" He said. I opened my eyes and look at his distress form.
- "Of what?" I asked in confusion.
