• “I’m not leaving,” I say to him, my voice coming out soft as I look up at him, trying to curb the nervousness rising in my chest. “I’m staying here.”
• I notice as his eyebrows rise slightly, as if he wasn't expecting my answer, right before his expression changes, becoming more neutral as if he doesn't want me to notice the slight relief that crosses his features. How I've even come to this decision. I don't know. Maybe it's because I can't bring myself to ever face Tyler again, or maybe because I'm completely terrified of what Ezio might do to me if he ever finds me. I can't risk it... and here, Dante has offered to take care of me...
