Chapter 38
- Jaselyn's POV
- When I woke up, I was alone. Thankfully. Waking up next to him would have certainly ruined my morning. The sun shines brightly into the room through the open window and the chirping of birds is loud. I yawn and stretch a bit, my mind slowly recalling the events of the previous day.
- After that awkward conversation, I'd fallen asleep in the bath and now I'm waking up in bed. He apparently carried me back to bed but I hope that yesterday's conversation will be enough to get him to move back into his room with Isla. I finally openly admitted to him that I hate him. He shouldn't waste his time trying to continue whatever plan he was carrying out.
