- "Jas!" Rion's voice broke through the haze, and he rushed into the room, a tray of food in his hands. He saw the broken mirror and the fear on my face, and his expression turned to one of concern. "What happened? Are you okay?"
- I crawled out of bed and ran into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably. "He's here, Rion. Zane's here. He won't leave me alone."
