• “I was in the middle of a very important meeting which I had to dismiss suddenly after being informed that my attention was needed for something very urgent. So Isla, do tell me what was so important that it couldn't wait.” Zane demanded, the strain in his voice indicating that he was far from pleased.
• This was the first time I had seen Zane even remotely displeased with his precious wife, and I was truly surprised by it. I thought she could never do anything wrong in his eyes.
