Chapter 20

• Thunder rumbles in the sky, the clouds a dark shade of grey. Me and the rest of the girls are sitting around the coffee table, all squished onto the couches with blankets wrapping around us individually. It's been a week since the call at Ben's dorm and all classes have been cancelled due to the sudden storm.
• All of us stare at the laptop resting on the table in the middle of the room, listening to the news lady ramble on about critical information on the storm.
• "Down in town, it has been said there has been a couple floods around specific streets and estates, causing people to have to evacuate." The screen behind her goes from a zoomed out map to a slideshow of images. None of the houses or streets I recognise, so I don't bother to worry all that much. I will make sure to message Kayla to see if Evelyn and her are alright later though.
