Chapter 55 Breakfast Meeting

• Clara’s door had been left wide open the night before. Outside, she and Baz could hear that Jere had turned on the TV to cartoons while Max was busily banging pots and pans, pretending to make breakfast. She didn’t want to come out and leave the comfort of Sebastian’s arms. Tomorrow, he won’t be there, so she’d be waking up alone, and she did not want to think about it. Was Clara getting used to being with him?
• He was still asleep, and she took this opportunity to stare at him. Clara touched his lower lip with her thumb, then followed it with her lips. She planned to wake him up so they could kiss again. And she knew it worked when his arm snaked around her body and pulled her towards him.
