• Wonton began to conspire against the prince for no justifiable reason and ended up with a coup even when he knew he would never be king. the prince’s first son who turned out to be Eric's father became king. He embraced Wonton which made people suspect that probably he had conspired with the murderer to take over from his father who was reigning for many years without resigning.
• No one could say anything though but at least he abdicated when he got caught having an affair with his staff’s wife. the princeship being given to Rowan’s dad, the position was forever taken away from his family. This alone was enough to make Eric, whom Rowan executed, develop deep hatred for him.
• As Rowan sat recalling this issue, he became more and more pissed off. He was trying to dig up more details. His mind took him to Sienna's background. He rose up, shaking his head. Wonton’s family and his were arch rivals, it was an abomination to marry or date anyone from this family. If anything would make him not want to be with Sienna, it would be this.
