• I walk closer to her, thank goodness I'm the only one at this moment. Siennaand Carla upon arrival would go to their room. I had instructed her, after I sent her off to her chambers with Carla, not to visit me except when I asked for her. I want to maintain those traditional ray rules which have been in existence for a long time. I don't bother about Robert, he really hates Beatrice, I wonder what would happen if he should come see her here. He's busy with instructing our men on what to do about the latest occurrence, how Gray's body would be treated, the rites and all other necessary stuff. He wouldn't be back until evening.
• "What's wrong Beatrice?" I shake my head in confusion. "I mean you've never acted this way before." I begin to guess why she's behaving this way, could it be that she has heard of Gray's death? Who could have informed her? I don't think that's the issue because I didn't inform her and even if she has been informed by someone I don't know, how does that get to concern her, she has no connection with him after all. At the verge of giving up on this thought and tagging it to be untrue, another thought flashes across my mind. Now that Gray is dead, she might fear that you would take Siennain being that my strongest rival no longer exists and she's left with no one other than me! This might be the exact truth.
