Chapter 15 Blood Betrayal
- The bizarre shimmering insignia was still seared into Calista's skin as she sat on the side of the infirmary bed the following morning, her sleeve rolled up. Like embers, it looks soft. The healers were unable to respond. No spell could take it away.
- Evana was standing close by, staring at the mark. "It appears to be something I've seen previously."
- Calista raised her head. "Where?"
