Chapter 35 An Omen

• Chelsea's life had just taken a 180° turn. First the death of his mother and now Fred, he had just suffered that terrible accident, luckily he was alive. She still remembers her cousin's words blaming her for what had just happened. The poor woman had not had time to experience the pain of her mother's grief and now she had to deal with the guilt of the consequences of that terrible accident.
• Could someone put themselves in his place for a few seconds? Could anyone understand their pain and frustration? She had made a commitment to Fred so she could forget Steve, which didn't work out at all. She married Fred so that he could receive the money and save his mother's life and now Susane was dead, the worst of all was that she would have to stay by Fred's side, she could not leave him at that moment when he needed her so much.
• She sat on the bed where her mother slept two days ago, grabbed the Bible that her mother always carried with her, opened it, and let the pages slide. He saw a delicately folded piece of paper and took it. He opened it carefully. What was that? It was written in his mother's handwriting. It looked like a letter. It was, sure enough, she knew it when she saw the date of her wedding and headed it with "Dear Chelsea". Seeing that it was for her, she stopped to read it.
