• After all the things Steve had said to her, after the way he had treated her, or rather, mistreated her, Larissa didn't intend to sit idly by. She was aware that Steve was looking for any excuse to end the relationship, so going against him, reproaching him or answering him would be the end for her.
• She had to be very careful with her movements and that's exactly what she was doing, despite the pent-up rage she had, she knew how to control it and act as if nothing had happened.
• When she was absolutely sure that there was no sign of Steve in the whole area, she took her cell phone out of her bag and dialed the number of the only person who would be willing to comfort her at any time and no matter the circumstances.
