• Our eyes locked and my lips fell open for a few seconds until he broke the eye contact and lifted his phone which was in his hand and placed it against his ear– which was finally when I stared down at my feet and puffed out a harsh breath, knowing there was no way in hell I’d be able to actually say what I had planned to come say in here in the first place.
• “I’ll see you later.” Luca’s voice washed around me and I glanced back up to find him watching me while still on the phone.
