Luca’s POV
I picked up the syrup bottle and poured some over the rest of the waffles on her plate, I didn’t miss the way an expression had come over her face as soon as I had started to pour the syrup over the waffles, and I had probably ended up pouring way more that was necessary, all because I still wanted to stare at the brightened up expression on her face for a moment more. She didn’t seem to mind that I had ended up pouring the amount of syrup that I had poured and so I sat back in my seat after returning the bottle of syrup where I had picked it up from.
She started to eat once again and after eating three more bites, dark colored syrup was staining the lower part of her lip, as well as the side of her lips, and I had to force my eyes away from her face as soon as she swiped her tongue out to lick up those stains, cleaning them up properly and neatly.
