• I wasn’t the only female around the table right now, there were a few other women sitting beside who I’d presume as their husbands, and I instantly noticed that they were older than I am. They kept regarding me with unreadable expression and as expected, i acted like I couldn’t feel their eyes on me.
• I noticed when one of the men offered a cigarette to Luca which he declined, and almost immediately, he was offered something that was wrapped in brown paper that I knew produced smoke as well. Luca accepted it but didn’t lit it. He was offered drink which he accepted and cradled in his hand, but I was very sure he wasn’t going to be tasting it.
