Chapter 205

• Ryan turned towards me after a few moments and held the teddy out to me before starting to speak, with his eyes darting around over everywhere at once.
• “Here’s your teddy, I have to go exchange a few words with some of the guards.” He said and I reached up and I accepted the teddy from him, bringing it to rest agdinst my front and I watched as he walked away from me, leaving me to myself. I stared around the whole place, trailing over the whole place and marveling at how the whole place was extremely wide. I mean, I already figured that this compound was going to be really wide, but I didn’t expect the back of the house to be this wide. The walls were very high and there was a lot of barbed wire over all the tops of tne walls, in order to keep outsiders out.
• I dug my teeth into my lower lips and as my eyes trailed forward to settle on the faint image of Ryan standing before a bunch of guards, and it felt like he was giving them a few orders. Seems like he was a higher ranked guard than I expected. I had used to think he was a low ranked one since his only job was to watch over me, but at this point, I was starting to rethink the whole thing in my head at this very moment.
