• Victor leaned back against the leather chair in his dimly lit office, rotating his chair as his cold gaze fixed on Fiona. The lighting in the room isn't even helping matters. It makes everywhere look eerie.. He tapped his fingers rhythmically on the polished surface of his desk, the silence between them suffocating Fiona, she kept thinking why he must have summoned her in such a haste.. Fiona stood before him, her heart pounding, her hands clenched at her sides in fear.
• "You will kill Kayla," Victor said, his voice disturbingly calm for the words he just uttered.
