Chapter 6 Creating A Scene

• He folded his arms, and his brows twitched. "And that must be your daughter, right?" He asked, turning to my dad. I saw his nostrils flared but he nodded. "Yes." He said simply.
• Alpha King Hayden smiled, then turned to his two sons I hadn't noticed came with him.
• "That's the girl. The little one he wanted to give this pack to." He said in a mocking tone and everyone in the hall began to laugh. My gaze landed on Alpha Reylis who laughed with every might in him. Of course, he wouldn't miss it for the world- a means to mock my dad and me.
• I saw my dad's jaw clench, and I also heard Serene's angry snarls in my head. My gaze landed further on the Alpha King's sons who I seemed to know not much about - not like I cared.
• The son by his left laughed alongside the others, and the right, mute. No bit of expression on his face.
• "At least he knows his father is retarded." Serene growled in my head.
• "Relax," I said to her.
• I took a glance at Carmen who also seemed to be sharing in their laughter, but discreetly, his palm covering his mouth.
• His sister glared at him, and he cleared his throat, taking a quick glance at me and then looking away.
• "Who are they?" I asked Rhea and Kayla.
• "Who? Those boys on each arm of the Alpha King?" Rhea asked and I nodded, crossing my arms.
• Kayla squinted her eyes before snapping her head at me. "Do you fancy any of them?" She asked, not through our mind-link.
• Serene growled. Reynolds whipped his head to us. "Who?" He asked at once.
• I pinned Kayla with a glare and she muttered a 'sorry'
• "No one," I said simply to Reynolds, who nodded and then looked away, still not content.
• "They are his pups. And the one on the right is the Royal Alpha Prince" Rhea said to me only, through our mind-link.
• I nodded.
• "Do you think we can take him?" Serene asked.
• My brow raised as I stared at the future Alpha King. He doesn't look weak. He must be strong.
• I leaned back against my seat. "We can," I say to Serene and she lets out a purr.
• Rhea narrowed her eyes on me. "Don't tell me you're thinking of taking over the kingdom" She asked, jokingly.
• "I can," I said and her eyes widened. "Dianne..." She half-yelled through our mind link.
• The others were now staring in between us, wondering what we were discussing.
• "Are you doubting me?" I said to her.
• She leaned back against her seat, pressing her lips together. "No." She muttered.
• "Good. Now relax, we're attracting attention" I said, when I felt the future Alpha King eyes on us.
• "What's his problem?" Serene growled.
• "Relax. It's fine to be curious" I said with a smirk.
• Luna Mabel walked up to the front with a smile and said, "Time for lunch everyone! Let's all move over to the buffet and dish as much food as we want." She said with a smile, and everyone cheered.
• For the Alpha King's table, which is placed right next to Alpha Reylis and his officials, Omega servants served them instead while the rest of us were to go get ours.
• Our table was the next; considering we had the Alpha prince next to us, Kayla was the first to stand up. Rhea follows.
• I was about to stand when Luna Gianna of Blackthorn Pack- the second biggest pack in Shadowfang. Rianna was her daughter, the rude one from earlier.
• She stood up, swayed her hair, and stood before Rhea and Kayla, blocking their view.
• "Excuse me?" Rhea said, and a loud ear-splitting slap followed, landing on her cheek. Everyone gasped.
• Delta Orion, Rhea's dad stood up at once, and so did her mom, Gypsy.
• "Luna Gianna!" He growled. Alpha Reylis also stood, while Alpha King Hayden leaned back against his seat, watching the scene unfold before him.
• Reynolds also stood up, and Carmen, too. I remained in my seat.
• Serene growled angrily in my head but I shook my head. "Relax." I simply say.
• Rhea held her cheek in pain. "What.." Luna Gianna raised her hand again but Delta Orion held it before it could land on his daughter's cheeks.
• He might not care about his daughter losing her rightful post to her junior brother, but He sure cared about his daughter.
• Alpha Soren sprang up. "Get your filthy hands off my mate!" He growled. Alpha Reylis chipped in immediately. "Lower your hands, Orion" He growled at his Delta.
• Delta Orion dropped Luna Gianna's hands, who growled at him immediately. "Filthy hands" She scrambled, wiping his touch off her.
• Delta Orion stood before Rhea. "Sit down, you two." He growled.
• Rhea stomped her foot before walking back to us and having her seat. Reynolds and Carmen also had their seat, not without Carmen passing a death glare at Luna Gianna.
• "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, Alpha Soren. I sincerely apologize on Delta's behalf. You too... Luna Gianna." He turned to Luna Gianna, who only huffed and looked away.
• Delta Orion growled in protest. "She slapped my pup"
• "She passed her boundary!" Alpha Reylis snarled at him.
• "How?"
• Luna Gianna stepped forward and then turned to everyone. "As we all know, it's a rule here! Females, irrespective of whatever status or pack they come from, have to come second..." She stretched her hand to Rhea and Kayla.
• "Why then did they stand up first, even the Alpha prince was still seated, but these two gluttons stood up first to go get a plate." She said and everyone gasped like they had just realized.
• Sneers filled the halls, and the males from other packs began to throw daggers at our seats.
• Alpha Reylis looked around, seeing the daggers. He smiled frantically. "Everyone relax, please. Luna Gianna is right, and I sincerely apologize. The males from each Pack can come to the buffet first, then the females will follow. Thank you." He said.
• Luna Gianna huffed and rolled her eyes. "Let's go, love." She grabbed Alpha Soren, who gave Delta Orion a last glare.
• "Males first," I said. Everyone stopped, then all eyes fell on me.
• Luna Gianna turned, her brows raised. "Excuse me?" She said.
• "Males first. Every male from each Pack goes first, then we females follow.." I finally raised my head, to her. "Isn't that the rule?" I asked, my brows cocked at her.
• Her face formed into a frown. "Did you filthy rag just dare to talk.."
• "In that case, we have five Packs here, every male from each Pack goes first. Then we begin with the females from the biggest Pack- ours. And in that case, you're on the second roll." I clicked my to
