• Olivia was sitting, watching the people passing by in the backyard of the Altezza-Adaline residence. She didn’t exactly want to stay there, but she also didn’t want to arouse suspicion by lingering alone in the back of the house. Eventually, she started moving around and mingling with the staff, just as she used to.
• As the afternoon turned toward evening, the suppliers of household necessities arrived. They usually delivered goods to the Quirino residence once a week. Typically, these consisted of fresh meats and vegetables that could last a while in the fridge, as well as other food and non-food items that the assistants had already recorded in advance.
• A driver, a conductor, and the staff were busy unloading items from the vehicle and storing the supplies in the pantry.
