• "What do you mean by that? How are you....Lucas Don?" Emily stuttered, the reality dawning on her at the moment. She still didn't want to believe it but she was forced to when she saw proof that the person she conversed with earlier was truly Luca.
• Her hands went to her mouth as she gasped in disbelief. Luca smirked and I also couldn't hold back a smile. That look of terror on her face made everything in me so satisfied. Memories of how she had treated me when I was married to Haynes not coming back to haunt or torture me, but they came back to let me know that I was doing great not sitting in bed, acting like a sadist because of what they had done to me, because of how they had treated me.
