Chapter 42

• When Asher parked the van, Noah had the door open before he could put it into park. He breathed in the fresh air and closed his eyes. The familiar scents of this area calmed his cat almost immediately. When he heard one of the other doors on the van open, he turned around to see the others climbing out.
• Calum came over toward him. “That fence will come in handy.” He glanced over his shoulder at the kids that were joining the adults as they all grouped together. “A lot of small people to keep track of.” He smirked.
• Noah nodded and then turned and looked at the house. It was one level and spread out to cover a large chunk of the fenced-in area.
