• She nodded and let go of the rail, and hopped over it. Before she could get ten feet, Calum passed her, and Konner came out of the water onto the shore. Calum tossed a handgun at him, Konner caught it, and with just a quick glance behind him, to see that his mate wasn’t far, he followed Calum into the trees. Later, Deva would think about how fast Terah could swim to go all the way back and still be here with her mate.
