• Allison POV.
• As soon as I knocked, Daniella flung the door open. The way she kept glancing at her watch made it seem like she had been waiting for me for a while. She pulls me in, and the sound of the door closing echoes through the room. “What is he doing here? You have surprised me by bringing David along with you!”
• I can't help but release a sigh, expressing my frustration. It was my sincere hope that she wouldn't mind his company when he came along with me. “He insisted on coming to help protect me. He has been very supportive of my decision to move into the pack-house and start a relationship with his brother, which I am grateful for. Although he has caused you trouble in the past, I truly believe that he is making an effort to make amends, and I hope you can see that, too. Would you be willing to give him a chance to prove himself?”
