• Appalled, I watched, my heart palpitating to Jayden's inanimate figure sprawled down on the floor. I wobbled over to where he's lying and reared down. Jayden, I whisper-called his name as I shook his body. His quiescent made my heart skip out of my body tragically. What is happening to us, that we're taking turns in the world of vague insensibility.
• I self-possessed and talked myself down: Nothing is wrong my mate. It has nothing to do with me being hapless. I have to learn not to panic in this kind of situation anymore. At least not to the loves of my life. Why would those who call themselves my good guardians let me look like bad luck to everyone? Why can't they take the hapless mask off my face? Why? I complained but it was all useless. I'm just trying to distract myself to be brave for Jayden but my bravery is too weak to stop my tears from falling out. I should go and get his brother. Why didn't I think of that in the first place? I shortly blamed myself for being a slow mind thinker as I rose up to go get his brother. A sudden seizure on my hand stopped me in my tracks. I looked down just to see Jayden staring back at me.
