• I was sitting on the hospital bed holding my mom's hands in mine. She was sleeping peacefully. She was pregnant with my brother and she will be bringing my brother to the world any minute from now. I was so happy to see her sleeping beautifully like a princess. I was rubbing her hands gently enjoying the warmth of her hands. She woke up and gave me a smile which I returned. Mom, did I wake you up? "No sweetie, you didn't. It's the contractions. She replied. How do you feel mom? Does it hurt so much? I asked her worriedly. I don't want to see my mom in any pain or misery. I love her so much. We were and still are financially unstable but she did all she could for my well being. I have never seen my father but she gave me both a mother's love and a father's love.
• Sweetie, I feel very weak. I feel like I won't be able to make it. In case we both don't make it, I want you to forget about us and start a new life in another city where they don't know you. If your brother makes it, please take care of him for me. She said in so much pain with tears in her eyes.
