Chapter 98

• Annabel crawled towards the window weakly few minutes after she heard the door close after him. He had just fed on her though not as aggressive as before but it pained just as much. Maybe she wasn’t as weak and tired as before because she had eaten something satisfying.
• She staggered weakly as she rose to her feet and held onto the tiny legs that held the huge wooden table. She heaved a breathe and balanced herself leaning on the window.
• She could see the garden from where she stood as the beautiful sun in the sky shone its magical light on the colourful trees and plants. This sight would have excited her but sadly it didn’t. She still felt an emptiness just like the old times.
