Chapter 57

• Alia placed the wet cloth on his forehead to cool him down and squeezed it out again. His temperature was getting normal and he was starting to respond to treatment. It was the fifth day since his fever and she haf done her best to care for him. Although it bothered her that she had no news of anyone asking about him or where he was and she was happy he didn't fall into a coma.
• She dipped it in the warm water again and placed it on his forehead. She could see the water running down his face and her eyes traced down from his lips to his exposed chest. She had never had a chance to see him half naked, it made her want to do something crazy. Up until the day before he had his shirt on but she had to get rid of it after it got so wet and seeing him shirtless played with her head. She shook her head to get the thoughts off her mind and turned around to get up.
• She heard a growl and turned back to see him struggling with something or someone, his eyes still closed. He seemed to be having a bad nightmare. She placed his palm in between her warm palms and rubbed them softly. She hoped it would help him calm down a little. Feeling his palm in hers made her heart beat fast. She wanted more than that, wanted to feel him more, wanted his arms around her and his lips on her body. The thought of his lips made a lump of saliva form in her throat which she swallowed hardly. Her eyes was fixed on his lips. She knew she had to have a taste.
