Chapter 59

• It was breakfast time and Annabel had followed Alac down even though he had insisted that she stay up and rest while her food was sent up. She had to plead with him to let her join the others, she was starting to get tired of being stuck in bed. It made her feel like she was worthless. She was happy when he finally agreed and happily crawled behind him, smiling to herself. It felt so good to feel the coldness of the floor and crawl down the huge stairs.
• She sat down behind her Master as usual, her eyes looking in the direction of the others. She was happy and relieved to see that they were fine and okay too. Seeing Number 3 reminded her of the incident with the Princess but she was happy that she was okay too. She was still curious to know why she had acted the way she did and what the Princess had used to blackmail her. She had noticed there was no sigh of the Royals in the house and wondered if they had come and gone.
• She watched as Mackie walled into the room and her eyes trailed him, taking in his new features. He was looking rough and ragged and that was unusual of him. She wondered if it was the preparation of the Wedding that made him look tired. His beard was more fuller even though it made him look like he had aged more, it made him look more handsome to her. He was dressed in Blue and White stripped Tee shirt and a Black trouser and Black rubber slide.
