• Her words were kind and considerate. They warmed his heart.
• But now he was capable of protecting her. In Front of him, the Lewis family was nothing but ants. He could squash every one of them.
• When he remembered how those Lewis family members humiliated him and Samantha, he could almost not control his bloodthirst.
• He wanted to destroy them and wipe them from Los Angeles. But at the end of the day he couldn't do that. They were after all Samantha's family.She would be sad if anything happened to them.
• The last thing he wanted was to see Samantha sad.
• Although they didn't deserve her care and concern considering how ill they treated her.
• But his wife was the most kind-hearted person he had ever seen. Tyson believed that the only way to make her cut ties with the Lewis family was to show her how heartless and Inhumane they were.
• He couldn't sit by and watch as his wife was taken advantage of. He would help her see the true colours of those so called family.
• " Okay, I will do as you say." Tyson agreed.
• He would make Samantha believe that he accepted her proposal but he would work in the shadows to expose the true colours of the Lewis family.
• He was sure that her grandfather was the one responsible for the scandal that happened five years ago.
• Although the scandal turned out to be a blessing in disguise for him, it was still unfair considering how it ruined Samantha's life.
• " Okay,I am leaving." Samantha said after bidding their daughter goodbye.
• " I will pick Tara from school before picking you up later." Tyson Informed and Samantha left.
• He waited until Samantha made her way to the Lewis company.
• Only then did he drive away.
• Tyson sends Tara to the kindergarten before going to meet up with Jordan.
• He had a mission delegated to him from his superiors.
• Apart from coming to reunite with his family, he was also sent to investigate the growing human trafficking in Los Angeles.
• It had come to the attention of his superiors that human trafficking was growing rampant. It was not only in LA, but all the states of the country.
• It was from LA he would start his investigation.
• For that to happen, he had to make acquaintance with the top three tier families in LA.
• If such a heinous crime was happening and the local authorities weren't able to stop it, that could only mean that only the top families in LA could have the powers to support such businesses.
• From what he knew, the Turner family under Ethan was an honest family. They were unlikely to be involved in such shady businesses.
• That narrowed his search to the remaining two families.
• The Parker and the Watson family.
• Tyson drove his jaguar to the intercontinental hotel.
• The intercontinental hotel was the most prestigious hotel in town.
• It was under the Turner family.
• He parked his car and was about to head inside when he heard someone shout.
• " Hey you." Tyson chose to ignore the person.
• He was in no mood to start a confrontation with anybody.
• " Am talking to you! how dare you ignore me?" The voice continued shouting after him.
• The other person hurriedly walked to Tyson and blocked his path.
• Upon closer look, he showed signs of surprise before his face turned to disgust.
• " It turns out that it's the useless husband of my cousin." The man said with distaste.
• Although Tyson wasn't familiar with the person before him, it seems like the person knew him and was from the Lewis family.
• " Do I know you?" Tyson's voice was cold and domineering, making the man take a step back.
• But after thinking that the man before him was no other than the famous live-in husband of his cousin Samantha who knew nothing but leech off the family, he regained his composure.
• " Are you pretending to not know me?" He asked displeased.
• " I'll be magnanimous today and remind you who I am." The man added arrogantly.
• " I am Brian Lewis, the next master of the Lewis family. You should bow anytime you see me. That can guarantee you a smooth life once I become the helmsman of the family." Brian declared arrogantly.
• He puffed out his chest as he put on airs in front of Tyson.
• Looking at the clown before him, Lucas smiled indifferently.
• Bow anytime he sees him?

• Tyson decided to not bother with the fool. He wasn't worth the time so he started to Walk away.
• Tyson's actions angered Brian.
• " Where do you think you are going when I am talking to you?" Brian bellowed from behind.
• His voice attracted attention from the passing people and soon, people gathered creating a commotion at the entrance of the hotel.
• " Do I have to report to you where I am going?" Tyson asked, his voice Cold and emotionless.
• All he wanted was to have some peace while discussing a few matters with Jordan.
• Since they were lodging in this hotel, they would definitely have to meet here.
• But it seemed like some busy buddies were too idle to cross his paths.
• " Do you think the intercontinental hotel is a place any Tom, Dick or Harry can come as they please. It took me a lot of money to secure a regular dining card here. You are jobless and penniless, I don't think the allowances given to you by my cousin are enough to pay a meal here." Brian mocked Tyson.
• His intention was clearly to embarrass Tyson Infront of all the people listening.
• " It's my business if I can afford to dine here or not." Lucas replied Indifferently.
• He couldn't help but smile at how ironical things were.
• Brian Lewis was bragging about getting a regular dining card to intercontinental while he, the good for nothing, had a golden dining card. The most highly ranked card.
• " It's okay if you want to embarrass yourself, but don't drag the Lewis family into your matters. If word gets out that the son-in-law of the Lewis was thrown out of the hotel, wouldn't that drag our family name to mud?" Brian declared, self-righteously.
• It's like he was educating his junior on what's wrong and what's bad!
• " I suggest you leave here on your own. If not I'll be forced to ask my bodyguards to drag you away. I won't sit back and watch as you tarnish the Lewis family name." Brian said threateningly.
• Tyson smiled faintly before parting his lips, " I would like to see you try." He said and proceeded to Walk inside.
• Brian was so angry by Tyson's blatant disrespect that the veins on his face started popping out one after the other.
• Tyson's disrespect was a humiliation and a test of his power. He was the only direct heir of the Lewis family and the next helmsman.
• How could a nobody like Tyson disrespect him.
• He was used to getting praises everywhere he went.
• Yet, a dog of the Lewis family dared to openly challenge him?
• That was unacceptable!
• " Don't say I didn't warn you. Bodyguards, go and beat the shit out of him before throwing him away from the hotel." Brian ordered venomously.
• He has always wanted to Tyson a lesson, what better time than this?
• The bodyguard rushed Intending to tackle them when all of a sudden like lightning, they were thrown ten metres away.
• The two burly men were groaning and writhing in pain as they laid on the ground.
• Each had at least a fracture and a broken bone.
• " Beat Tyson and throw him away? Are you fools tired of living?" A domineering voice resonated in the parking lot.
• The man before them was young, probably around 26 years old. But the aura surrounding him spelt of blood and death.
• He had a faint smile on his face that made him resemble the grim reaper.
• He was looking down at Brian with mockery in his eyes.
• " You... you what did you do to my men?" Brian was surprised but more angry.
• Those two were the bodyguards the Lewis family hired to protect him. They were among the best but it only took them less than a minute to be dealt with?
• Just how powerful was the young man?
• " What did I do? Of course I kicked them you dummy." Jordan mocked.
• " Or do you want me to illustrate with you?" Jordan added as an evil grin covered his face.
• Brian was so scared that he took three steps back subconsciously.
• " What are you doing? I am the heir of the Lewis family. If you dare do something to me, my grandfather won't let you off." Ina bid to save himself, Brian could only threaten the young man with his family name.
• " The heir of the Lewis family? hah! Do you think I am scared of you? Even if you are the helmsman of the family, I'll still beat you up if you try to touch Tyson." Jordan replied.
