- Elijah carried Clarice all the way back to the main house and left her at a rarely used side door that was close to the banquet hall. He knew there was little chance of anyone passing this place.
- “You know this place better than I do, so you should know help is nearby.”
- Clarice nodded her head and was secretly relieved Elijah kept his promise.
