Chapter 58 The Blackwood Mansion

  • The D-Day had finally come, it was evening and The Blackwood Mansion was a stunning sight. Its usual understated elegance was replaced by an exuberant atmosphere appropriate for a grand celebration. As they decorated the entryway, a kaleidoscope of multi-colored balloons drifted gracefully in the wind. Lanterns lighted with dazzling lights direct attendees to the hall where the activities would be held.
  • The dramatic alteration grabbed everyone who entered the beautiful hall. Garlands of fragrant flowers floated through the air as they spiraled across the polished oak floor, each meticulously selected from the house's gardens. In the center of the room stood a gorgeous banquet table draped in the most exquisite damask. Shiny cutlery and crystal goblets glistened under the soft illumination of crystal chandeliers. Each plate was adorned with a single, magnificent flower, taking the scene to a more refined level.
  • Soft velvet chairs were prepared for the guests as they took their seats at the table. Because each chair was carefully placed, there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and converse. Extra tables were set up in various parts of the hall to accommodate additional guests, and they were decorated with gorgeous table sets and matching floral arrangements.
