- “He sent that?” Jennifer asked with furrowed eyebrows, a look of doubt on her face. “I don’t believe you,” she confessed.
- “Ugh! Doubting Thomas!” I groaned and quickly picked up my phone from the counter in the sitting room.
- I had just told her of the message Mr. Blackwood sent me last night. Why would she not believe me?
