Chapter 32 Glimpses of Salvation
- “You’re mine, Saria.” He whispered. As if hearing my thoughts. He angled up to grip the top of the stockade. Using it to pull himself forward and pressing the back of my body down until I thought he’d snap my spine or pierce from my stomach. But my body was somehow constructed in a way that it could survive his brutality.
