Chapter 71 The House Help Six

• As soon as Maria heard the door shut, she placed her hand on her chest as she breathed a sigh of relief, and came out of the closet. She wiped the perspiration off her forehead with the hem of her clothes as she tiptoed to the door to check if John had actually left.
• She walked out of the room quickly and sprinted toward hers. She changed out of her clothes as the former had been drenched in sweat as a result of hiding inside the closet with no source of ventilation.
• She resumed arranging her clothes in her closet with a wide smile playing across her face. She was thankful that John hadn't caught her. Not only will she have lost her job that she had barely started working at but she will lose her place in the agency.
