• Donald scanned his head for a possible answer to the question. But he had none to give to her. He too was really curious about Jennifer. He spent most of the time thinking about her. He just had that unending curiosity to know what she was up to. Could she have moved on from him? That shouldn't be the case. He wanted Jennifer to keep back to him. That way, he would have peace of mind. He had paid Ms Mabel to have her sacked because he was very certain that she would come fuming to him. It was his only way of seeing her face once more. He never expected that she would really move on from him so quickly. To even think of the fact that she settled for an ordinary cab driver was enough reason for him to go nuts.
