Chapter 42 Not Your Regular Girl Four

• Lucy purposely didn't return home last night. She needed to make sure that her lie was properly cooked. If she had returned home without being found or simply on her own, it would have been suspicious. So, she spent the night away to give her best friend a proper reason to be concerned about her. After the time spent with Donald a few meters from the house,she insisted that she would follow him back to his house and spend the night there. But Donald had no room in his heart to entertain her nuisance. However, at the same time, he cared for his love, Jennifer, well enough to not let her feel the heartbreak of being betrayed by a trusted friend. So, he opted to keep her in a hotel from which she would find her way home the next morning.
• Lucy was up on her feet dialing the line of Donald as early as six-thirty in the morning.
• "Hello, babe," Donald's voice creeped into her ears through the phone.
