Chapter 290 Diverting Embarrassment

• “I.... Ahmmm.... I....” Mavie stammered.
• Ray heard his Boss ask “what?” in a grumpy tone through the earpiece, but he did not mimic the way he received the message. The assistant was torn between these two, but he could not dare voice his displeasure on the flow of events. All Ray could do was give the caregiver a helpless expression. Ray had his back to the camera, so Judas did not see the agony on his assistant’s face during the whole conversation between him and Mavie. How Ray wished they would just do it on their own. But then again, how could he refuse to obey and do as his Boss demands of him?
