Chapter 6 The sudden visit

  • Third Person's Point of View
  • The next day, Blossom woke up as if a hundred people had beaten her body. She couldn’t even lift one of her fingers, the bed was pulling her back.
  • As she closed her eyes, she yawned and would have stood up but quickly realized something! With eyes widened, she remembered what happened last night.
  • Her head was almost cut off when she turned to the side of her bed just to discover that the man had already gone.
  • Hundred needles pierced her heart when she saw no trace of Leo sleeping beside her. If she looked closely, Leo obviously didn't leave a trace on the bed as if he wanted to convey to Blossom that what happened last night was not real and all of that was just a dream and fantasy.
  • Blossom smiled bitterly and her white eyes were now slowly being covered with water.
  • Though weak, has a sore feeling between her legs, she still tried to enter the bathroom and lie down in the bathtub.
  • She doesn't feel any strength because she wonders if last night is also memorable for Leo?
  • Because for her ... for her, that night was the biggest happy day of her life. She can't forget about it even if God would put amnesia to her. That was the night she gave herself completely to Leo including her heart.
  • The night sky, the stars and moon witness it.
  • 100 days ... For 100 days she promised to herself.
  • She leaned her head and boldly looked at her reflection in the water. In that hundred days, what will she do? Just cry and wait for her husband to be stolen by that pretender woman ?! No way!
  • She needs to seduce her husband! She needs to make the most of those 100 days! If she succeeds in stealing Leo's heart, she will have no problem.
  • But ... if she fails, at least, she can say that in a hundred days, she has done the things she really wanted to do with Leo.
  • When she finished bathing and choosing clothes, she looked at her reflection in the mirror.
  • "Pretty!" She compliments herself as she spins the mirror and observes how elegant she is wearing.
  • It’s a maroon one-shoulder dress with a black stilettos suit and black pouch. Even though she looks like a villain, it looks like this is really the thing she needs to wear to scare the women who are planning to take her place in Leo's life.
  • She couldn’t help but wonder what Leo saw in Erin because when she saw what Erin was wearing, there was no denying that she was a cheap girl!
  • Not long after, she decided to cook Leo's lunch. She will go to Leo's company today to surprise him. Well, she knew that it wasn't a surprise for Leo but a horror.
  • She was ready to be a ghost in Leo's eyes as long as she was the wife. She can't just be miserable, she can't just suffer, and even more, she can't let anyone be happy while she's drowning with pain! In the few years she has been gone, she will take back the things that were taken from her.
  • Blossom just cooked a simple soup because she found out from the newscaster that there would be rain. She also prepared an umbrella for Leo to use.
  • As she covered the containers, the smile on her lips couldn't be erased because she couldn't believe that she was now Leo's wife and acting like a wife now.
  • She asked the driver to accompany her when she had finished preparing everything. Since it was better to sip hot food because the weather was coming, she decided to buy coffee for Leo and her as well.
  • “Just wait for me, Rolando. I'll be quick.”
  • "Yes ma'am."
  • Even when she got out of the car, it was as if Blossom had already painted a smile on her lips. However, she wouldn't have thought that when she opened the coffee shop's door that smile would instantly disappear.
  • It was unfortunate that she ran into the lady she wanted to avoid seeing the most, and despite her best efforts to seem classy in the eyes of this woman, it appeared that she could not stop herself from behaving like an amazon girl.
  • Erin spoke to her with an eyebrow up, "Excuse me."
  • "Excuse you?"
  • Once again, Blossom was taken back to the moment when she recollected the first time she had seen this person with her husband. No matter how hard she tried to keep from thinking about it, she couldn't contain the wrath that was building up inside of her. She was unable to stop like if there was a video card that was playing over and over again in her head.
  • “Excuse. Me." She said emphatically. “You are blocking my way.”
  • Blossom flashed a smile at her before resuming their conversation, “I'm not blocking you. Is it my fault that you're a trash that dispersed wherever? What? Do you want me to adjust to you again?”
  • When Erin clenched her teeth, it gave Blossom the idea that she need to mock of her even more.
  • "You sure you're alright? Or perhaps you are still experiencing delusions, in which you think you are the rightful owner of the husband you robbed."
  • Blossom could see the terror in Erin's eyes as she looked around, embarrassed that someone may overhear them. Erin's face was covered in blood as she tried to hide her humiliation.
  • Before responding to Blossom's remark directed against her, she inhaled deeply and didn't let herself lose, “With that size of you, you think I won't notice you?”
  • Blossom's disposition shifted as a direct result of Erin's words, and it seemed as if she was engulfed in flames; yet, she was not incorrect; this lady was only acting in order to get Leo to feel sorry for her.
  • Blossom could not respond to Erin's insult, so Erin used the opportunity to bump her arm.
  • She was about to dropped the soup she had prepared for Leo, luckily she catch it. However, before she could get revenge on Erin, the woman came out of the coffee shop.
  • When she glanced around, she saw that nobody seemed to be listening to what they were saying.
  • A few minutes later, she was able to regain control of herself and made the decision to proceed with the purchase of coffee for Leo.
  • As she waited, it started to rain, which made her happy because she had a good feeling about what she was carrying and thought that Leo would appreciate it.
  • When she arrived at the building, she was carrying the coffee and soup that she had prepared while other employees looked at her and greeted her. It is no longer mysterious to other people who she is and what role she plays in Leo's life. Nevertheless, there were also other people who appeared anxious when she arrived, and she simply ignored them so that she would not bother them any longer.
  • As she waited for the elevator to chime again to let her know that she had arrived at the correct level of Leo's office, she couldn't help but feel anxious.
  • *ting*
  • When she heard it, excitement and exhilaration almost caused her to leap out of her skin. She intended to sprint over to Leo's room, place the prepared food on his table, and then join her husband for lunch.
  • Nevertheless, because she could hear someone inside the room conversing, she was unsure whether she should knock on the door or simply wait for the person who was inside to come out on their own.
  • She was now standing in front of the door, undecided.
  • She started by biting her lip and then cautiously putting her ear to the door. However, the door opened even before she could finally put her ear to it, causing her to tumble to the floor and the hot liquids she was carrying to spill to the floor as well.
  • Her legs were scalded by the hot soup and coffee, but it was when she glanced up and saw her husband's arm wrapped around his mistress' waist that she felt as if her whole body had gone numb.
  • Even though she was unable to feel the liquids heat, the anguish and pressure in her chest made the situation seem intolerable. She had the intention of snatching Leo's arm and removing it from Erin's waist.
  • "Motherfucker!" She wanted to scream that term in Leo and Erin's faces, but Erin's grin made her know that she was the one who was going to come out on the losing end of this conflict.
  • "Let's go?" Erin was invited by Leo.
  • She longed to raise her hand and implore them not to go, but as Leo stomped on the cup of coffee and the container where the soup was, she finally accepted her loss and admitted that she had lost today.
  • As her body began to weaken, she did nothing until the two were no more in her line of sight. And just when she was beginning to believe that there was no one who could salvage her marriage with Leo, she unexpectedly received a call from someone she did not anticipate.
  • “So, what's going on?” The caller asked.
