• His ring finger glowed in blood red light, and then he swished it to the leopard. It didn't seem to have any effect at first, but I noticed my scent vanished. He also did the same thing earlier in the stream. It seems like he's erasing my tracks and covering them up with his. I should be offended by this, but I know he's just doing so to conceal the fact that a wolf has entered vampire domain.
• "Katie, I'm really sorry. I have to cover up your scent with mine.." He murmured through the link, feeling guilty and anxious. He was about to further explain and apologize, but I held his hand, brushing my skin with his. Goddess, he just feels so right. Why did I even think that he wouldn't say something and just do things on his own accord? If ever that does happen in the future, I'm sure he's just doing it for my sake. Although I honestly don't like the idea of him hiding some things from me and lying, of course. Either way, I'm sure communicating with him is way better than sulking and being sad all by myself. I looked at his red eyes and smiled.
