CHAPTER 25 Alright, come home with me

• The baby's cry woke Stephanie up from her daydream. She finally realized that something had happened and went after Jack madly, but when she rushed to the corridor, Jack had long been gone.
• He must be downstairs! Stephanie ran to the elevator in panic. On her way, she even ran into a patient, which she'd got no time to apologize to. When she arrived at the elevator, she found it to be going up and thus couldn't take her downstairs in a short time, so she decided to descend on stairs.
• It's merely four floors. More importantly, she could let Jack take away the baby.
