Logan slumped into the chair. He has been away from home for three nights and only return to get his work clothes which means he hasn't set his eyes on Jovy since that day when she had placed herself as important.
• The thought of everything that ensued that day made him sneer. The audacity she possessed had him boiling. She really was lucky that he doesn't beat women if not he would have drilled in some sense into that empty head of hers. The conversation made him more disinterested in wanting to have anything to do with her. Her stay in the house which might eventually get to him would have to be taken care of before she becomes more of a pain in the neck.
