Chapter 29 Damien

  • Damien
  • Jordan and I made our way to see Agatha. She would know for sure what is up with these killer headaches. Why were Jordan and I feeling them at the same time? We had never shared any sort of pain like this before. Well, with the exception of the bond we have. One could always sense when the other was in trouble, but we never shared the same pain. Was this because we were hybrids? Once we made it to Agatha, she welcomed us into her home. Agatha was always a strange old woman for as long as I can remember. She kept to herself mostly, unless it was helping to heal injured wolves with her remedies. Her long grey hair was pulled into a bun and her eyes were the color of fire. Red with hints of orange. Only her eyes told her true age though. Eyes that almost seemed sad were always sad with the knowledge she had been made to give through the gods as their seer. To anyone else, she would look like your normal elderly African American woman.
  • "Come in boys", she said from her kitchen. It was easy to pick up with her wolf hearing as we approached her property. She lived away from everyone else, near the entrance of the road leading to the mansion. As we got closer and closer, the headaches seemed to get stronger. We approached her in the kitchen, and she handed us both Viles with a red bubbly substance.
