Chapter 57 Priya's Pov

• "No... no... Papa, don't leave me. Please." I was panting heavily and then screamed, "Nooo......." and tears started coming from my eyes. This nightmare will never let me sleep silently. I sat straight on the bed and looked around. I wasn't in my room. The room was poorly lit, so it was hard to recognize, but the familiar smell assured me I was safe.
• I blinked many times to adjust to the bright light coming from the window covered with curtains. It was morning and I don't remember when did I sleep last night. I glanced around more, it was Mr. Kim's room. I was shocked and covered my open mouth with both hands. I removed the blanket from myself and as soon as I tried to get up, I groaned in pain. I drank too much alcohol last night, and my head ached because of the hangover.
• "Priya, you okay?" I got surprised by the deep, hoarse voice coming from behind. Mr. Kim woke up because of me. "Why did you scream?" He rubbed his eyes and looked at me. He was concerned and worried. He also got up from the bed and walked beside me, close to me.
