• She was shouting like hell at me. She was so angry that it was useless to explain anything to her. I could tolerate everything, but I couldn’t take the blame for the mistake I didn’t commit. I can’t tolerate cheating, so why would I cheat someone else? She was yelling and was not ready to listen to anything. My patience also paid off and I couldn’t control it anymore.
• “SeoJoon, what you have done? Are you crazy?” Jin hyung raised his voice at me. He was disheartened to see Priya and me quarreling like this. “Why did you slap her?” He was disappointed.
• “Hyung, didn’t you see her? She was shouting like a mad and was talking rubbish about me.” I didn’t understand what happened all of a sudden. I avoided my gaze from hyung and walked into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and reached out the unopened bottle of vodka and took a small sip. I leaned against the counter and again took a mouthful from the bottle. The cold liquid chilled out my throat and the burn of alcohol soothed the hot feeling inside my body. I wasn’t an alcoholic, but sometimes I need it to calm my nerves.
