- She jumped when her phone rang. Picking it up, she flipped the next page out of the folder onto her desk. “Teegan Jacobs.”
- “Don’t make me whine to get your attention.”
- She smiled at Leland’s playful tone. Glancing at the clock she realized it had been a few hours since the girls had gone to work. “Sorry, time got away from me.”
