• It's been two weeks and I've finally won over Joy. She told me everything about her work and even facts she would keep normally. I learnt Alaric Dusk was possessive about his wife and vice versa. It occurred to me that, if I take the wife, it would greatly weaken him.
• I began to plan on how to kidnap her. Luckily for me, almost a week later, Joy came to me happily saying she would be able to take a leave because her bosses are traveling out of the country for a while.
